Javier Arredondo Javier Arredondo is the CEO/Founder of Editorial Mapas, a Mexican publishing house with a Latin American reach, that produces high quality magazines, books and other editorial products with pertinent, entertaining and useful contents for informed and intelligent readers that deal with decision-making. Since 2003, its range covers 18 countries, including the United States. The publishing house’s two feature magazines are Travesías and Gatopardo, both award-winning publications that have been recognized in the Mexican and Latin American markets as leaders in their respective niches. Editorial Mapas is a unique company in the Mexican and Latin American publishing field, focusing in specialized work, with far-reaching products and was selected by Endeavor in Rio de Janeiro in 2002. Mr. Arredondo graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City with a BA in International Relations. He then attended the graduate program in Latin American Studies, School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Javier went on to the graduate program in Human Geography at UNAM in Mexico City and received his Executive MBA from IPADE Business School also in Mexico City. Mr. Arredondo has also studied International Business and the Environment at the London School of Economics and attended the Stanford Professional Publishing Course at Stanford University. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French and proficient in German, Portuguese and Italian. Mr. Arredondo also serves on numerous boards including Patronato del Museo de la Ciudad de México (Mexico City Museum - President of the Board), Patronato de Arte Contemporáneo de México (Board of Contemporary Art) and Fondo Xilitla (Member of the Advisory Board).
